Here is where the focus is on innovation and experimentation, connecting tango with other genres such as jazz and folk. The most prominent project is the Bertero-Pereiro Duo. Together with pianist Miguel Pereiro, Bertero offers a different approach to the music of Buenos Aires, including original works from the album " Con asfalto y Wi-fi" and classic tangos performed in a novel way, sometimes incorporating other instruments such as the saxophone.

The goal is to create something new in each live performance, basing the musical performance on the improvisation format, which makes the duo unique in the genre.
